FOR MORE THAN 150 YEARS,...
...asparagus has been cultivated in Beelitz.
It all began with a glazier master in 1861: Carl Friedrich Wilhelm Herrmann knew that the upper class likes to eat asparagus. He then began to grow asparagus in Beelitz and started selling it with increasing success. Since then, eating asparagus became deeply rooted into the region.

Welcome and Keynote
We start with an exciting keynote. Let yourself be surprised what it's about.
Lunch, cakes, asparagus and Prussia
After a small lunch at the Chamber of Commerce in Potsdam we leave for the asparagus farm and get a quick introduction about its history by asparagus expert Josef Jakobs. You will also be served coffee and cake.
Then, we take a short look at the properties and the Prussian influenced area with its small villages, crafts and churches, before we arrive at our destination, the Vierseithof.
Activity and Awards
We become active ourselves and work with the asparagus. Great fun! Outstanding achievements will be rewarded in accordance with JCI standards.
Meeting with the Queen
We meet the Queen of Asparagus, who allows us an audience. We will also capture this uplifting event photographically.

Dinner
The exciting day culminates in the dinner, which, in good JCI tradition, may not be missed at any conference. You will be served delicious asparagus. But there are more surprises waiting for you. Be curious.
After Dinner Party
We have organized a top location where we can dance and enjoy the great day with fast music and good drinks until the early hours of the next morning.

For everyone who awakens the early bird the morning after, we offer an entertaining tour of the Prussian Potsdam and the opportunity for discussions with energizing delicacies in an outstanding restaurant in the city.
